meet the new 4.0 production line

As stated in an interview released by the CEO of Errecom, Nicola Ronga, the Industry 4.0 project was launched in 2017 and, thanks to a technological mix of automation, computerisation, connection, and programming, is converting production into a smarter, faster, and more efficient process.

We are experiencing the fourth industrial revolution, a new era in which companies find the winning solution in technological innovation to increase efficiency, reduce production costs, improve the organisation and quality of work.

As mentioned before, Errecom has integrated this project into its strategy, to optimize production processes and achieve a high level of automation, making the company even more competitive.

In this regard, the new liquid product filling line, which has recently been installed, is fully automated allowing to further increase the company’s productivity to 3000 pieces/hour for bottles up to 1 litre, ensuring 100% product compliance and 25% energy savings.

Interconnected with the company’s net, thanks to the internal software, the new 4.0 production line allows acquiring essential data and information to constantly supervise the quality of the work carried out by the machine, defining, for instance, the average statistics of the production batch of conforming/non-conforming items.

The new 4.0 production line performs filling by mass dosage and no longer by volume, thus automatically measuring the density and temperature of the product and reducing the filling error to a maximum of 2 ml per 1000 litres.

The quality of production is also guaranteed by 100% automated quality control. Using a checkweigher, all bottles that do not meet the technical production specifications are immediately rejected, ensuring the highest quality standard for our customers.

To ensure the high quality of our refrigeration lubricant, all bottles are automatically flushed with nitrogen before filling to remove any possible moisture in the air. This allows maintaining a very low ppm water in our lubricants, not by chance the first choice of many OEM compressor manufacturers.

So, quality and excellence are guaranteed, but that’s not all! The new 4.0 production line optimises production cycles, increasing work efficiency, reducing downtime, production costs, energy consumption, and C02 emissions. A great achievement that, for sure, lays the foundation for an even brighter future.
