International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies: Errecom’s commitment to the environment

From research conducted by the World Health Organization, shocking data emerges: air pollution kills an estimated seven million people worldwide every year. Acute respiratory infections, stroke, heart disease, and lung cancer are among the main causes of mortality in countries with high levels of air pollution.
Among the most significant emissions are those of CO2, which, in the United States alone in 2017, were recorded as 82% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Their release into the atmosphere has a devastating impact on the planet, not only in terms of potential human diseases but also as far as it concerns global warming and climate change.
Rising carbon dioxide levels create imbalances in the nutrients needed by crops, such as iron, zinc, and protein, threatening to irreparably damage harvests for entire seasons.
