Errecom celebrates World Refrigeration Day 2021
Errecom reconfirms its participation in the
super-webinar that every year Centro Studi Galileo organises to celebrate World Refrigeration Day.
This year’s edition focuses on a very interesting topic: young careers for a better world.
Of course… we couldn’t pass it up!
Established for the first time in 2019, since then, World Refrigeration Day has been celebrated every year on 26 June, to raise awareness of the important role played by the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump industry in daily life and modern society.
Just think, as demonstrated this year by the problem of vaccine transport, of the fundamental role played by the cold chain to preserve and maintain food and pharmaceutical products. Or, operating theatres that require a controlled temperature, as well as heat pumps that keep our homes warm during the coldest winters while saving energy.
World Refrigeration Day is, therefore, the best opportunity to raise awareness, not only of the refrigeration industry’s contribution to improving the quality of life of billions of people but also of its role when it comes to sustainability and the environment.
“Cooling Champions: Cool Careers for a Better World” is the theme for the 2021 edition, which aims to inspire young professionals from all over the world to pursue a career in the HVAC/R sector. Errecom will join, together with other leading companies of the sector, the super-webinar organised by Centro Studi Galileo, in collaboration with ATF (Italian Association of Refrigeration Technicians) and Industria & Formazione. The event, that will take place on July 1st, will focus on young careers as the title itself suggests: “Cool Careers: the Cool Youth will save our World 2.0″.
Errecom will be represented by the youngest member of the R&D staff: Anna Paderno, who is working in the company for three years now.
Anna will show one of the most important R&D projects she has followed in Errecom so far, revealing what it means, today, to be a young woman working as a laboratory technician in the refrigeration sector.
Cool, young & green – The chemistry of refrigeration invests in young people: with this title, Anna will represent Errecom, a company that since the very beginning of its path has always stood out for betting on young talents.
