19th European Conference:
Errecom reconfirmed as a leading chemical company
for the AC/R sector
It is with great pride that Errecom reconfirms its participation in the nineteenth edition of the European Conference organised by Centro Studi Galileo, from 10 to 11 June 2021.
“Latest technologies in refrigeration and air conditioning” is the title of this year’s edition, which will welcome numerous world associations of the sector and experts, including Paolo Mattavelli, our R&D Manager.
The event, which takes place every two years in collaboration with UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIF-IIR), will be held, exceptionally for this year, both online and live.
One of the most renowned conferences in the sector, the European Conference brings together the world’s leading refrigeration experts, in partnership with AREA (European Association of RACHP Contractors) and with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of the Environment.
Among the keynote speakers there are the main players of the refrigeration and air conditioning market, representatives of international organisations such as FAO, UNPE (United Nations Sustainable Development), and UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), as well as researchers and professors from world-renowned universities such as Imperial College London, which has been reconfirmed, also this year, as one of the TOP 15 universities of the world.
Due to its international resonance, the event will provide for simultaneous translation service (Italian-English) and will focus on the latest technologies adopted in the HVAC/R sector to tackle climate change. Energy efficiency and environmental sustainability are indeed key issues for the development of a crucial sector, as the AC/R is, in achieving global targets.
Errecom will be the only chemical company taking part in the conference and will present the research carried out by the R&D department over the last two years, confirming the important role that chemistry plays in guaranteeing energy efficiency of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems that work with low-GWP refrigerants.
In his speech, Paolo Mattavelli will focus on the role of new lubricants, which are without any doubt the key players in the current environmental challenge. This is due to their ability to convey the necessary additives into the system to guarantee its efficiency, longevity, and stability of the components.
