Established by the Council of Europe in 2001, this anniversary aims to raise awareness about intercultural understanding and the importance of protecting the linguistic heritage of Europe. There are 24 official languages spoken and 60 traditional regional and national minorities\u2019 languages (Catalan, Basque, etc.). About this, the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages was conceived: the only treaty in the world that protects and promotes these endangered languages.<\/p>\n

The coexistence of several cultures, languages, and traditions in Europe has defined its political and social history over the years, so it should come as no surprise that there is such a strong will to protect multilingualism. Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci programs are only a few of the projects that the European Union has developed as one of the world\u2019s biggest investors in promoting language learning among the citizens to support the economy and worker mobility.<\/p>\n

This inclusive and global atmosphere has inevitably influenced Errecom\u2019s strategies, born and developed in a continent where different accents, mindsets and business models meet, trying to understand and support each other.<\/p>\n
