A few weeks ago, California contributed to the innovation and sustainability of its country, introducing new rules to reduce HFC emissions<\/a> and, once again, presenting itself as a model to be followed in environmental matters.<\/p>

California is known worldwide for being the most environmentally committed of the 50 states in America: car sharing, incentives for electric cars, a city, San Francisco, declared the most sustainable capital in North America. It is not surprising then, to discover that, even in the world of AC\/R, California is the first country in the States to prohibit the use of refrigerants considered harmful to the environment.
The new rules approved by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) affect a wide range of situations: from manufacturers to final consumers, from supermarkets to ice skating rinks, etc.<\/p>

Anyway, what looks like a significant change in the USA is an established rule in Europe: the F-Gas Regulation, which is constantly being revised. AREA\u2019s position about the revision of the F-Gas Regulation<\/a> is pretty clear.
Even though this regulation has shown its potential in terms of benefits for the environment, AREA claims that it\u2019s quite evident that some aspects need to be improved. For instance, technicians should fill the skill gap to overcome the obstacles they meet dealing with alternative refrigerants.<\/p>

Errecom, as a company known for its environmental commitment, on this occasion too proves to be one step ahead.
