It is usual to find a small amount of water or ice on the walls of refrigerating appliances. This is due to the humidity contained in the air condensing into water droplets and accumulating in the coldest parts of the freezer.<\/p>

When ice accumulates in excessive quantities, the optimal storage of goods is compromised (food, drinks, fresh and frozen products and even medicines and blood in the banks of the same name), and the functioning of the refrigerator is not ensured. In fact, the layers of ice create an insulating thickness on the walls that forces the compressor to work under stress to keep the temperature at the set value causing overheating.<\/p>

First, a reduction in the space of the chiller compartments and a considerable difficulty in removing the shelves. There are also some bad habits related with misuse among the most frequent causes of ice formation such as open the door frequently, introduce wet and too hot food, a very high ambient temperature, adjust incorrectly the thermostat and no defrost with regularity.<\/p>
