On the contrary, HFC<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0refrigerants\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">do not\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">affect negatively<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">on<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the ozone layer, but they contribute significantly to the global warming.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In order to identify refrigerants\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0less impact on the global warming, it i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s necessary to find alternatives with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">no climate-altering\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">substances<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For this reason, the amount of research and studies<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0in this field\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">has increased.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"TextRun substitutes for HFCs<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0because they\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">have a lower GWP<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0(Global Warming Potential)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and therefore dissolve in the atmosphere faster with less impact on the ozone layer.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However, HFO<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s are\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">more volatile<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and this means that<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0are more unstable within\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AC\/R<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0system. This instability generates an accumulation of fluorine and moisture which leads to the formation of acidity\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">on<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">system\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">materials<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Acidity\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">causes<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0a series of problems, including refrigerant<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">leaks, which are harmful to the environment and the air conditioning system<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
